Enrolled Nurse
n Advance Medical Practice, Westmead NSW

Advance Medical Practice is a general practice in Westmead. We are looking for an Enrolled Nurse to join our clinical team and support our GPs across treatment room and preventive health work.

n

n

About the role

n

You will work alongside our doctors and reception team in a single-site practice. The role covers treatment room duties, chronic disease and preventive health support, and the day to day running of clinical stock and equipment.

n

n

Day to day you will:

n

n
- Assist doctors with procedures, dressings and wound care.
n
- Administer vaccinations and injections under supervision, in line with your scope of practice.
n
- Perform ECGs, spirometry, blood pressure and basic observations.
n
- Support health assessments, GP Management Plans and Team Care Arrangements.
n
- Manage the vaccine fridge and cold chain records, including temperature logs and breach reporting.
n
- Maintain sterilisation, infection control and treatment room stock.
n
- Run recall and reminder lists and follow up patients as directed.
n
- Help maintain documentation for RACGP accreditation.
n

About you:

n

n
- Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA, with a medication administration notation.
n
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
n
- Current CPR certification and a National Police Check.
n
- Immunisation status compliant with NSW Health requirements.
n
- Confident communicator who can put patients at ease.
n
- Organised, reliable and comfortable working in a small team.
n

Helpful but not essential:

n

n
- Previous experience in general practice.
n
- Familiarity with Best Practice software.
n
- Immunisation and wound care qualifications.
n
- A second language spoken in the local community.
n
