We're looking for an organised, commercially minded Tender & Pre-Contracts Coordinator to take ownership of coordinating and administering our tender process. Working closely with our General Manager, estimating team and Project Services, you'll help coordinate tenders from initial opportunity through to submission, quote conversion and the handover of successful projects into delivery.

J&D; Contracting delivers commercial, government and private-sector construction projects across Southeast Queensland and regional Queensland, with tender values ranging from around $50K to $2M+. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys bringing people, information and deadlines together and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

About the Job

n

n
- Coordinate end-to-end tender submissions — programmes, deadlines, action lists and registers
n
- Prepare non-price documentation, using the most relevant project experience and capability
n
- Coordinate with estimators on pricing, methodology, programmes, site and safety plans to monitor against deadlines and follow up outstanding requirements

- Assist estimators with comparing subcontractor and supplier pricing before submission
n
- Maintain strong document control and ensure submissions are complete, compliant and submitted on time.

- Exposure to projects across SEQ and regional QLD, from $50K to $2M+
n
- Manage quote conversion and the handover from sales into Project Services

Skills and experience

n

n
- Experience coordinating tenders, bids, submissions or construction documentation
n
- Good understanding of the construction tendering process
n
- Solid written communication and attention to detail
n
- Confident liaising with estimators, subcontractors, clients and internal stakeholders
n
- Well organised and comfortable managing competing deadlines
n
