About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Remote Automotive Quality Engineer to join their team, working entirely from home. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and reliability of automotive components and systems throughout the product lifecycle. You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control processes, analyzing quality data, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to impact vehicle safety and performance from a remote setting, collaborating with global engineering and manufacturing teams to uphold the highest standards of automotive quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement comprehensive quality plans for automotive components and systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor and analyze quality data from production, testing, and field performance.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure product quality requirements are met.
- Perform internal and supplier audits to assess compliance with quality standards.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation,



including inspection procedures and control plans.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- 3+ years of experience in quality engineering, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, problem-solving tools (e.g., 8D, FMEA), and quality methodologies.
- Experience with inspection techniques and measurement systems analysis (MSA).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
