Miss Pearl Bar & Dinning at the Melbourne Theatre Company Southbank is recruiting for an experienced Assistant Venue Manager.
We are looking for a star who is personable and well presented – a hospitality natural.
This is a busy role overseeing a six-day operation with the occasional Sunday.

Salary package at $85,000 plus super per year
The Role
Lead a team of waiters, hosts and baristas
Deliver exceptional customer service to regular patrons and guests
Ordering and stocktake
Roster staff and complete time sheet approvals
Daily troubleshooting
Develop and train new and existing team members
Manage and oversee a successful café and a range of functions and events on-site
Rotating roster over 6 days - Monday to Saturday with the occasional Sunday
Provide occasional support at ACMI and oversee venue operations when the Venue Manager is on leave.
About You




Minimum 2 year in assistant management/ supervisory experience in a busy fast paced venue.
Strong hands-on floor management experience, ideally within a premium à la carte restaurant.
Confident learning and using POS systems, reservation systems and online ordering platforms
Friendly personality, with a focus on providing top level customer service
A passion for the hospitality industry
Valid VIC RSA and bar/beverage knowledge
