About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated AI Ethics and Governance Lead to join their advanced AI & Emerging Technologies team. This is a critical, fully remote position focused on ensuring the responsible and ethical development and deployment of AI technologies. You will be instrumental in establishing and maintaining robust governance frameworks, policies, and best practices to uphold principles of fairness, transparency, and accountability. Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive AI ethics policies and governance frameworks.
- Conduct ethical risk assessments and impact analyses for AI systems and products.
- Provide guidance and training to cross-functional teams on ethical AI principles and responsible innovation.
- Monitor evolving AI regulations, industry standards, and best practices globally.

Requirements

- Advanced degree in a relevant field such as Law, Ethics, Computer Science, Public Policy, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in AI ethics, responsible AI, or technology governance.
- In-depth understanding of AI technologies, their societal implications, and associated ethical challenges.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and emerging AI legislation.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead initiatives and drive change in a remote, collaborative environment.
