Seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead their kitchen operations and drive the culinary vision of the business. This is a permanent role offering AUD$100,000 to AUD$110,000 annually, perfect for a Sous Chef ready to step up into a leadership position. You'll have the opportunity to shape menus with creativity, build systems that deliver consistent results, and develop a kitchen team that thrives on accountability and growth.

- Create and execute innovative menus while maintaining rigorous kitchen standards and controls
- Lead recruitment, training, and culture-building across the kitchen team
- AUD$100,000 to AUD$110,000 per annum, permanent position

Preferred Requirements

- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a busy hospitality environment
- Strong understanding of back-of-house financials and cost control




- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute large-scale events for multiple covers
- Leadership experience with a track record of recruiting, mentoring, and developing kitchen staff
- Meticulous attention to detail across food preparation, presentation, and kitchen operations

Preferred Qualifications

- Formal culinary qualification or equivalent hands-on experience in qualified kitchens
- Food Safety Supervisor certification or equivalent food hygiene qualification
- Experience managing kitchen teams in high-volume or event-driven hospitality settings
