Fairfield City Council is seeking to employ a suitably qualified and experienced exercise specialist with outstanding initiative to join its Health and Fitness team. Candidates must have a passion for health and fitness, be self-motivated, customer focused and proactive.

Successful applicants will contribute to the ongoing development and delivery of a diverse range of health and fitness programs within an experienced team, along with supervision of the gym floor, maintenance and cleaning of equipment, personal training, exercise consultations and programming for clients.

Essential Requirements:

- Certificate IV in Fitness
- First Aid Certificate
- Current Provide/Perform CPR
- Registered Exercise or Fitness Professional
- Working with Children or Working with Vulnerable People Check

Desirable Criteria:

- Human Movement, Coaching, Exercise or Sports Science Degree

Salary and Employment Conditions:

Full time position, 76 hours per fortnight.



This position is Grade 3 with a salary range of $71,173 p.a. with performance progression to $83,373 p.a. Flexible working hours are available. Penalty rates on weekends are applicable. A uniform is provided.

Hours of Work:

Between 5.00 am and 11.00 pm Monday to Sunday. Start and finish times will be versatile and depend on operational needs.
