We’re currently recruiting for an experienced SeniorContract Administrator / Contract Administrator to join a well-establishedand growing construction business delivering commercial recent build andDesign & Construct (D&C;) projects across Western Sydney.

With projects typically ranging from $5M to $20M, thisis an opportunity to join a strong project team and play a key role in thecommercial management and successful delivery of quality construction projects.

Education sector experience is highly desirable, withfamiliarity working under GC21 contracts and using Procore asignificant advantage.

About the role

Working closely with the Project Manager and widerconstruction team, you’ll take responsibility for the commercial andcontractual administration of your projects from procurement through to finalaccount.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managingthe commercial and contractual administration of projects
- Preparing,reviewing and managing subcontractor packages
- Procurementand subcontractor negotiations
- Managingvariations, EOTs, progress claims and payment schedules
- Preparingand assessing subcontractor claims
- ManagingRFIs, notices and contractual correspondence
- Costreporting, forecasting and financial management
- Monitoringproject costs against budget
- Managingthe head contract and subcontract agreements
- Assistingwith monthly reporting and project financials
- Managingcommercial risks and identifying opportunities
- Supportingthe Project Manager throughout the project lifecycle




- Assistingwith project close-out and final accounts

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a Senior Contract Administrator orexperienced Contract Administrator who understands the commercial side ofconstruction and has a strong track record across new build and D&Cprojects.;

Ideally, you’ll have:

- Provenexperience as a Contract Administrator within commercial construction
- Experiencedelivering $5M–$20M projects
- Strong newbuild and D&C; experience
- Solidunderstanding of subcontract administration and procurement
- Strongknowledge of variations, claims, EOTs and progress claims
- Excellentcommercial and contractual awareness
- Strongcommunication and negotiation skills
- Theability to work autonomously while being part of a collaborative projectteam
- Educationsector experience highly regarded
- GC21contract experience highly desirable
- Procoreexperience advantageous
