About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and empathetic Remote HR Generalist with a strong focus on employee relations to join their virtual team supporting operations in Queenstown and beyond. This role is critical for fostering a positive and productive work environment by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting fair HR practices. You will work independently to provide HR support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring a high level of employee satisfaction and organizational health. This is an ideal position for an HR professional who excels in remote communication and has a deep understanding of employee dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and resolve employee relations issues, including investigations, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
- Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment law interpretations.
- Develop and deliver training on topics such as workplace conduct, diversity, and inclusion.
- Facilitate employee engagement initiatives and feedback mechanisms in a remote setting.




- Support the implementation of HR programs and policies to ensure fair and consistent application.
- Maintain confidential employee records and ensure data integrity.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in HR, with a significant portion dedicated to employee relations .
- Strong knowledge of South African labour law and best practices in conflict resolution.
- Excellent communication, mediation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and maintain confidentiality in a remote capacity.
- Experience with HRIS and standard office productivity software.
