We are urgently seeking a packer to assist in the fabrication of aluminum sections for doors and windows with a reputable aluminum extrusion business based in Loganlea. The new team member will work with a designated crew on a rotational roster Monday to Friday and is required to commence as soon as possible.

This workplace focuses on safety, training and team culture. The packer/factory labourer will pack and prepare long-length aluminum products for dispatch while ensuring a clean, safe and efficient workspace.

Duties include:

- Packing long lengths of aluminum into skips or onto bases for dispatch
- Shrink-wrapping, stock-taking, RF scanning and quality-checking to ensure profiles match products
- Assembling materials into square shapes for dispatch and preparing cratesli>
- Operating an Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) and forklift for cleating purposes (if licensed)
- Maintaining adherence to safe work procedures, including proper handling, maintenance and storage of personal protective equipment

Roster:

Day 5:00 am – 1:00 pm, Afternoon 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm, Night 9:00 pm – 5:00 am. Availability Monday to Friday is required.



A 15% loading applies to afternoon and night shifts worked.

Key skills and requirements:

- Previous labouring and packing experience, ideally in a factory environment
- Strong work ethic, reliability and ability to work as part of a team
- Physical fitness to perform manual handling and labouring tasks (training provided)
- Willingness to follow instructions and work safely at all times
- Current forklift licence preferred but not essential
- Own transport and current driver’s licence due to shift requirements
- Appropriate work wear including steel cap boots, long pants and yellow hi-vis long-sleeved shirts
- Availability to commence as soon as possible at Loganlea
