We're recruiting on behalf of one of our clients who are a well-established manufacturing business. They are looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead the protected, efficient, and compliant operation of one of their manufacturing facilities.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll take ownership of site performance, health & safety, operational excellence, manage a small team including team development while ensuring production targets and customer expectations are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead all site health, safety, environmental, and quality activities.
- Drive operational performance in line with business objectives and production plans.
- Manage stock control, production scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Lead, motivate, and develop site teams to maintain high performance and compliance standards.
- Oversee maintenance activities and work closely with engineering teams to maximise equipment reliability.
- Champion continuous improvement, operational excellence, and cost efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and management systems.
- Manage site budgets, vendor relationships, and operational reporting.




- Maintain robust emergency response, risk management, and business continuity plans.
- Collaborate with commercial and distribution teams to deliver excellent customer service.

About You

- Degree qualified in a technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, environmental, and quality management systems.
- Demonstrated success in operational management, team leadership, and continuous improvement.
- Able to work effectively under pressure, prioritise workloads, and deliver results.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Competent with Microsoft Office; ERP system experience is advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence required.
