KW Partners is working with one of the most exciting full-service investment banking platforms in the Australian market to appoint an Associate 2 into its Sponsors team .

This is a genuine top-end-of-town opportunity. The team operates at the premium end of the market, advising leading private equity sponsors and corporates on complex, high-profile transactions across M&A; and capital markets.

The platform combines market-leading deal flow, exceptional senior leadership and significant exposure to clients and transactions . Expectations are high, but for an ambitious Associate looking to accelerate their career, the opportunity is equally significant.

The Role

As an Associate 2, you will play a key execution role across live transactions and pitches, working directly with senior bankers and clients.

You will:

- Execute complex M&A; and sponsor-led transactions from origination through to completion
- Build and review detailed financial models, valuation analysis and transaction materials
- Coordinate transaction processes across clients, counterparties, advisers and internal teams
- Take increasing responsibility for managing Analysts and junior team members
- Work closely with senior bankers across the broader full-service platform




- Develop direct exposure to leading Australian and global private equity sponsors
- Contribute to pitches, strategic ideas and recent business opportunities

Who They're Looking For

You will ideally be an Associate 2 or equivalent with solid investment banking experience from a leading platform.

You will bring:

- Solid financial modelling and valuation capability
- High attention to detail and commercial judgementConfidence operating in a demanding, fast-moving transaction environment
- The ability to take ownership and drive workstreams rather than simply support them
- Strong communication skills and credibility with senior bankers and clients
- Genuine ambition to build a long-term career in investment banking
