About the Role

Our client is seeking a specialized Rotating Equipment Engineer to join their technical team, offering a remote work arrangement. This role is crucial for the integrity, reliability, and performance of critical rotating machinery within their Oil & Gas operations. You will provide expert technical support for the selection, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of turbines, compressors, pumps, and other vital equipment. Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical expertise for the specification, selection, and procurement of rotating equipment.
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies, including condition monitoring and preventative maintenance programs.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
- Review and approve vendor technical documentation, drawings, and proposals.
- Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and project teams to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
- Stay current with industry standards,



technologies, and best practices for rotating machinery.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience specifically focused on rotating equipment in the Oil & Gas or process industries.
- In-depth knowledge of various types of rotating equipment (e.g., centrifugal compressors, gas turbines, pumps).
- Experience with condition monitoring techniques and predictive maintenance technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective remote collaboration.
