Senior Insolvency Accountant / Business Analyst

We are looking for a full time Insolvency Accountant to join our NSW/ACT team based in Parramatta NSW. Day to day file management of insolvency appointments (from start to finish)

Preparation of statutory lodgements

Liaising with directors, employees, creditors, banks, statutory authorities and other stakeholders

Collection and investigation into records

Prioritise and manage workloads to meet conflicting deadlines

Analyse financial statements and diverse financial data

Drafting of reports and preparation of creditors meetings

Investigations into insolvent trading, voidable transactions and offences committed by officers

Attending sites to inspect, collect and record assets and books and records





Assisting with Fair Entitlements Guarantee claims and calculating employee entitlements.

About you

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, Outlook)

A Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Commerce, Finance or Accounting

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

CA or CPA qualified (or willing to obtain)

ARITA Introduction to Insolvency certification

ARITA skilled qualification (or willing to obtain)

Previous experience in insolvency is required.
