Pay: AU$71,500.00 – AU$75,000.00 per year

Little Sister restaurant in Cairns is looking for 2 skilled full time Cook with at least 3 years experience who is hardworking and organised. Little Sister is a locally owned and operated restaurant that has been proudly serving its customers since 2022.

Work experience – Minimum 1 year

Qualifications – Diploma in Hospitality

Salary: Base Salary $71500 and be eligible for future promotion.

Responsibilities:

- Food preparation and cooking, plating, presentation
- Maintaining and ordering stocks and supplies
- Menu planning, budgeting and estimate food requirements
- Following food safety requirements
- Check quality of ingredients and quality of dishes
- Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
- Kitchen maintenance and cleaning
- May recruit and train staff

Requirements:

- Ability to work in a team
- Very valuable communication skills
- Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
