About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and technically adept Remote Field Support Specialist to bolster their operations, supporting a wide range of clients and equipment primarily in the Eastern Cape . This role is designed for an individual who excels at providing expert virtual assistance for installation and maintenance tasks, diagnosing issues remotely, and guiding clients through complex procedures. Working from home, you will be a crucial link in ensuring our client's technology performs optimally without the need for on-site presence for many common issues. This remote-first position requires strong communication skills, a deep understanding of technical systems, and the ability to deliver exceptional support from anywhere, contributing significantly to client satisfaction and operational efficiency for our client.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide remote technical guidance and support for the installation and configuration of equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical problems reported by customers using remote access tools.
- Assist clients in performing routine maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on their systems.
- Document all support interactions, solutions,



and customer feedback accurately within the company's system.
- Collaborate with on-site technicians and engineering teams to resolve escalated technical issues.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, guides, and FAQs for remote support processes.

Requirements

- Proven experience in technical support , field service, or a related role within Installation & Maintenance .
- Robust capabilities in remote diagnostics, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in using remote monitoring and management software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical instruction.
- Ability to work independently and manage a remote workload effectively.
- Familiarity with various hardware and software systems commonly used in technical fields.
