St. Giles is seeking a Frontline Practice Leader to lead the development, mentoring and coaching of our Disability Support Workers to deliver exceptional person-centred support across our Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Community Services programs.

This role is ideal for an experienced disability professional who enjoys working alongside teams, building capability, and ensuring clients receive high-quality, person-centred support that enables them to thrive.

About the Role

As a Frontline Practice Leader, you will be the key link between frontline support teams and operational leadership. You will spend time both in the field and behind the scenes, mentoring and supporting staff to deliver safe, effective and person-centred services.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced support professional looking to expand their leadership capability while remaining connected to frontline service delivery.

You will provide practical coaching and guidance, facilitate training, monitor service quality, and drive a culture of continuous improvement across our SIL and Community services.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Providing day-to-day leadership and support to Disability Support Workers
- Coaching and mentoring staff to build confidence, skills and capability
- Working alongside teams in client’s homes and community settings to model best practice support
- Supporting onboarding, induction and ongoing development of staff
- Identifying training needs and facilitating learning opportunitiesnium
- Monitoring service quality, documentation and compliance with NDIS Practice Standards
- Assisting with client reviews, support planning and service improvements
- Supporting the implementation of positive behaviour and person-centred approaches
- Building strong relationships with clients, families,



guardians and stakeholders
- Contributing to incident management, risk identification and continuous improvement initiatives
- Participating in the after-hours on-call roster

About You

You are a passionate leader who enjoys helping others succeed. You can build positive working relationships, provide constructive coaching, and maintain a strong focus on participant outcomes.

You’ll bring:

- Experience in disability, community services, aged care or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and mentor staff
- Strong understanding of person-centred practice and client choice and control
- Experience supporting people with complex support needs
- Sound knowledge of NDIS quality, safeguarding and compliance requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- A cooperative, accountable and positive approach to leadership
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and performance coaching
- Demonstrated ability to influence positive practice change
- Experience mentoring less experienced staff
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Community Services or equivalent experience
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Current Driver Licence
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Vulnerable People Registration
- Medication Endorsement (or willingness to obtain)
