About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their fully remote team, contributing to projects across various locations. You will be responsible for the design, planning, and oversight of infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet stringent engineering standards and client requirements. This role requires a self-motivated individual with exceptional technical expertise and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with geographically dispersed teams. You will leverage your extensive knowledge to drive innovation and ensure the successful delivery of complex civil engineering solutions, working from anywhere in South Africa .

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and development of civil infrastructure projects, including roads, water systems, and drainage.
- Perform complex engineering calculations and analyses, ensuring structural integrity and functionality.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and reports using advanced engineering software.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical expertise and professional development support.
- Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders,



and consultants to achieve project objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant engineering standards, regulations, and environmental policies.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration is essential.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project management.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale infrastructure projects from concept to completion.
- Expertise in using civil engineering design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, adaptable to a remote work environment.
