About the Role

Our client is seeking a results-oriented Supply Chain Project Manager to optimize and enhance their logistics and supply chain operations in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. This role is pivotal in managing projects that aim to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase the overall effectiveness of the supply chain. You will work with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners to implement current systems, processes, and strategies. The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical mindset, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics, contributing to critical improvements within a hybrid work setting that balances operational oversight with strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the planning and execution of supply chain projects, including process improvements, technology implementations, and network optimization.
- Develop project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, procurement, manufacturing, and sales, to achieve project goals.




- Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain, ensuring operational continuity and resilience.
- Monitor project performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports on progress and outcomes to stakeholders.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in supply chain management and project management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing supply chain improvement projects.
- Strong understanding of logistics, inventory management, procurement, and global trade.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain software and project management tools.
