The Rolen
n
n The Senior Project Manager is responsible for providing project management expertise, leadership, mentoring, advice, and sharing their technical knowledge, to contribute to the business's success.n
n n
n n
The Responsibilitiesn
n

n
- Promote and model the company's values and behaviours
n
- Support and develop a skilled team capable of delivering exceptional project management to support all divisions, aligned with the company’s strategic objectives and contribute to profitability.
n
- Work with the General Manager to develop and manage the budget, including allocating resources to ensure operations' effectiveness.
n
- Deliver projects, monitor project progress and ensure project deliverables are met.
n
- Promote and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards and the company's WHSEQ systems.
n
- Participate in internal and external QA audits
n
- Ensure workplace health, safety, environment and quality management principles are included in, and actively participate in, organisational planning and operational activities, including hazard/risk identification, risk management, monitoring, reporting, operational performance and operational review,



all with a view to improving WHSEMS performance.
n
- Ensure the provision of workplace health safety, environmental and quality information, and all policies and procedures are available through the quality system.
n
- Consult with employees and other interested parties and ensure participation to improve decision-making and outcomes of the WHSEMS and Quality system.
n
- Contribute to Division planning and participate in, and contribute to, other planning activities as required.
n
- Work collaboratively with the General Manager to ensure the smooth functioning of the business.
n
- Work with General Manager and People & Culture Manager to ensure qualified staff and contractors are employed as required.
n
- Develop and maintain client relationships and contribute to strengthening and growing the company's strategic stakeholder relationships.
n

n The Position Specificsn
n

n
- Manage direct report Project Managers
n
- Coach and support project managers in developing their project construction and management skills.
n
- Manage site teams
n
- Conduct project start-up meetings with the team to ensure roles and responsibilities are explicit.
n
- Develop, document and implement project plans
n
- Track and update project milestones, deliverables and budget
n
- Manage contracts and ensure contract conformance
n
- Create and manage subcontractor contracts and purchase orders
n
- Manage contract correspondence, contract variations/change orders and project administration
n
- Invoice and collect project receivables
n
- Approve project payables
n
- Lead project team meetings
n




- Manage overall labour requirements, including setting up cost codes
n
- Review drawings for QA sign-off and manufacture
n

n
The Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)n
n

- Monthly reports, budget updates, and progress claims are completed accurately and on time.
n
- Toolbox and Monthly Reports 100% are completed appropriately and on time
n
- ITPs and QA plans and records are completed accurately and on time.
n
- Customer relationships, both internal and external, are positive
n
- 100% adherence to the company's WHS procedures
n

The Knowledge, Skills & Abilitiesn
n

- Highly developed project management skills
n
- Highly developed coaching skills
n
- Expertise in mechanical services
n
- Awareness and understanding of construction contracts for the relevant jurisdiction
n

The Requirements/Qualificationsn
n

n
- Ten years of experience in a similar role
n
- Certificate IV in Project Management Practice (essential) or relevant industry experience
n
- Diploma in Project Management (desirable) or relevant industry experience
n
- Diploma of Management (desirable) or relevant industry
n
