Ocius Technology is an Australian company dedicated to developing and deploying cutting edge Uncrewed Surface Vehicles (USVs). Our vessel's harness Wind, Solar and Wave power to remain at sea collecting vital data for Defence and Civilian applications.

We are under contracts with RAN, RNZN and USA and are responding in an agile way to an ambitious program of building and deploying multiple USVs for operations around Australia and beyond.

About the Role

The Senior Project Manager will manage both acquisition, sustainment and operations for our next fleet of Bluebottles. As we begin to deliver to RNZN, the Project Manager will manage the current sutainment and operating contract, as well as ensure all deliverables are met for any and all Bluebottle acqusitions. The role will also be instrumental in negotiating new contracts and agreements

A typical day includes:

- Ensuring day-to-day deliverables are met, including new features, reporting and maintenance and production deadlines
- Supporting the operations team to ensure Bluebottles remain on-mission
- Partnering with external stakeholders, proving updates and briefings both remote and onsite in Auckland

Selection Criteria





- 10 +years experiencemanaging large Australian or New Zealand defence projects with complex,multi‑disciplinarytechnology components
- Strong experience engaging with and managing senior customer stakeholders, with a demonstrated ability to build trust and influence outcomes
- Demonstrated capability managing wide-ranging project resources, includinglogistics, engineering, marine operations, and maintenance teams, in an Australian or New Zealand Defence context
- Experience writing and presenting detailed project budget and progress reports for Defence and government stakeholders
- Proficiencywith Microsoft Project, including scheduling, dependencies, resource allocation, and reporting
- Strong risk management awareness and ability toidentify, elevate, and mitigate operational risks
- Ability to travel periodically to Auckland (2-3 times per quarter)
