The Empowerment Project - Allied Health Care – Parramatta NSW

Join an established allied health provider operating for approximately 7 years with a strong presence across the NDIS and medico-legal space. You'll become part of a mobile team of 8 Occupational Therapists, 5 Physiotherapists working predominantly across Parramatta and surrounding areas with a surrounding multidisciplinary team to support. This role is designed to be sustainable, with no culture of chasing unrealistic billables or putting clinicians under constant KPI pressure. The focus is on completing quality work, supporting your clients and maintaining a sustainable workload.

What you'll be doing

No two days look the same here, and that's the point. You'll be out in the community doing meaningful work with real people, backed by a team that supports you every step of the way.

Visiting clients in their homes and communities around Parramatta, Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Completing physiotherapy assessments covering mobility, strength, balance and falls risk

Providing assistive technology and mobility aid assessments and prescription

Designing and delivering home and community exercise programs

Delivering capacity-building, person-centred interventions

Writing assessments, reports and support plans

Working closely with our in-house OTs, Exercise Physiologists, Dietitians and Podiatrists

A workload built to be sustainable

This role suits an Physio who enjoys autonomy but doesn't want a punishing caseload or a KPI-driven environment.

Clients are scheduled within similar areas to cut down unnecessary travel, and you'll generally see around 5-6 a day. Rather than chasing daily billables, we work to a broader monthly expectation that the team comfortably meets. The focus stays where it should: quality work,



positive outcomes and a pace you can keep up long term.

Weekly 1:1 clinical supervision with a dedicated senior PT

Shadowing and joint client sessions in your first weeks, so you're never alone on the floor

Who can apply

We welcome applications from new graduate, early-career, experienced and senior PTs, and anyone keen to develop NDIS or medicolegal work. You'll need to be comfortable working autonomously in the community and travelling across western / southwest Sydney.
