Mario's Italian Restaurant in Broadbeach, Queensland is seeking passionate and experienced Wait Staff to join our team. This is a casual role, offering flexible hours to suit your lifestyle. As a member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Taking food and beverage orders accurately and communicating them to the kitchen and bar staff
- Delivering food and drinks to tables in a timely and organised fashion
- Addressing customer requests and resolving any issues that arise
- Maintaining a clean and tidy dining area, including resetting tables and restocking condiments
- Assisting with side tasks such as side-work, inventory, and other duties as required
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a hospitality role, preferably in a restaurant or cafe setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
with the ability to provide friendly and attentive service
- Solid problem-solving and multitasking abilities to handle the fast-paced environment
- Flexible and adaptable, with the willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- A passion for food, wine, and providing an exceptional dining experience
