Our occupational therapists have expertise in sensory processing and Ayres Sensory Integration®, creating exciting opportunities for Speech Pathologists to work alongside OTs to support the connection between regulation, engagement and communication.

About the Role

We are looking for a Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our Brisbane team.

You will work with children and families across a range of speech, language, communication and developmental needs, while being part of a genuinely collaborative therapy environment.

A key part of the role is the opportunity to complete joint Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy sessions, particularly for children where regulation, sensory processing, engagement and communication are closely connected.

You will have the opportunity to:

- Provide individual paediatric speech pathology assessment and intervention.
- Complete joint sessions with Occupational Therapists, combining expertise to support regulation, engagement, interaction and communication.
- Work with children with speech, language, social communication and broader developmental differences.
- Collaborate with families, schools, educators and other professionals.
- Participate in interdisciplinary case discussions and shared therapy planning.




- Develop your skills in sensory-informed and regulation-focused approaches to communication.
- Contribute to the continued development of Speech Pathology services within ISK.

About You

We would love to hear from Speech Pathologists who:

- Hold a recognised qualification in Speech Pathology and appropriate Speech Pathology Australia membership/eligibility.
- Are passionate about working with children and families.
- Enjoy working collaboratively rather than in professional silos.
- Have an interest in the relationship between sensory regulation, connection and communication.
- Value neuroaffirming, strengths-based and family-centred practice.
- Are enthusiastic about learning and developing their paediatric clinical skills.
