Central Coast Local Health District is seeking experienced Locum Emergency Medicine Registrars to support busy EDs across the region.

This role is ideal for doctors who want a coastal locum without going remote, combining strong ED exposure with access to beaches, national parks and relaxed towns.

You will manage acute and complex presentations, with consultant guidance or in-charge responsibility depending on the site and shift.

Clinical Environment

- Busy regional-metro ED exposure
- Presentations include trauma, paediatrics, cardiac, resus and mental health
- Work with FACEMs, registrars, RMOs and experienced nursing teams
- Up-to-date electronic medical records and real-time triage systems
- In-charge or supervised shifts depending on roster and facility

Requirements

- AHPRA General or Specialist Registration
- PGY5+ with at least 12 months of Emergency Medicine experience
- NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
- Willingness to complete onboarding and hospital credentialing
