Gorilla Jobs is seeking Locum Emergency Medicine Doctors across Sydney and regional NSW, from senior RMOs through to CMOs and Consultants.

This role suits doctors wanting ED work that can fit around family, training terms, permanent work, travel or other commitments.

You can choose occasional ad-hoc shifts, week-long blocks, multi-week stints or ongoing repeat bookings depending on your availability.

Clinical Environment

- ED shifts across major referral centres, district hospitals and regional sites
- Broad caseload including trauma, resus, acute medicine, paediatrics and mental health
- Supportive multidisciplinary teams
- Transparent escalation and retrieval pathways
- Options available across multiple levels, from SRMO to FACEM

Requirements

- AHPRA General or Specialist Registration
- PGY3+ with recent Emergency Medicine or acute care experience
- Solid ED experience required for senior CMO or FACEM roles
- Australian working rights
- Willingness to complete NSW Health credentialing and compliance

Referral Program

Also, if locum work isn’t for you at the moment but you know another doctor who may be interested, we do have a referral program. Successful referrals can receive a $1,100 prepaid gift card for non-specialist doctors, or $1,600 for specialist/consultant referrals, once the referred doctor has completed the required shifts.
