Northern NSW Local Health District is seeking a Locum ED RMO for structured Emergency Department cover in a supportive regional setting.

This role suits doctors wanting locum work with a clear roster, strong supervision and meaningful ED experience.

You will manage a broad range of presentations while working alongside FACEMs, registrars and experienced nursing staff.

Clinical Setting

- Hands-on ED experience in a busy regional department
- Direct supervision and teaching from FACEMs
- Medical, surgical, trauma and paediatric presentations
- Supportive senior presence and clear escalation pathways
- Strong learning environment for RMOs considering ED pathways

Roster

- Day: 08:00 – 18:30
- Evening: 13:00 – 23:00
- Night: 22:30 – 08:30
- Rotating roster across days, evenings and nights

Requirements

- AHPRA General Registration
- PGY2+ with recent Emergency or acute hospital experience
- NSW Working with Children Check and National Police Check
- Australian working rights
- Willingness to complete local credentialing and onboarding
