Gorilla Jobs is seeking PGY5+ ED Senior Medical Officers, ED GPs and FACEMs for versatile locum work across regional and rural NSW and WA.

This role is ideal for doctors who want meaningful ED work without locking into a permanent roster.

Whether you prefer a few days at a time, a 1–2 week rotation, or a repeating FIFO pattern, we can talk through options that work around your family, permanent job, study or lifestyle commitments.

Clinical Environment

- Regional and rural ED settings across NSW and WA
- Trauma, acute medicine, paediatrics, mental health and minor injury presentations
- Mix of solo and team-based shifts depending on site
- Nursing, retrieval and on-call support available
- Clear escalation pathways and defined senior backup

Requirements

- PGY5+ with strong Emergency Medicine or acute care experience for ED SMO / ED GP roles
- FACEM or equivalent Specialist in Emergency Medicine for Consultant-level work
- Current AHPRA registration and Australian working rights
- Comfortable working in supported regional or rural EDs
- Willingness to complete NSW / WA credentialing and compliance

Location

Referral Program

Also, if locum work isn’t for you at the moment but you know another doctor who may be interested, we do have a referral program. Successful referrals can receive a $1,100 prepaid gift card for non-specialist doctors, or $1,600 for specialist/consultant referrals, once the referred doctor has completed the required shifts.
