Northern NSW Local Health District is seeking a Locum General Medicine Registrar to support inpatient unit shifts at a regional hospital.

This role is ideal for a registrar wanting a change of scenery, broad General Medicine exposure and the lifestyle benefits of Northern NSW.

You will join a rotating team of three registrars, supporting ward-based care, patient reviews, discharge planning and team coordination.

Clinical Environment

- Regional inpatient General Medicine ward
- Varied acute and chronic medical case mix
- IPU shifts generally 07:00 – 17:30
- Shared on-call from 17:30 – 21:00
- Support from Consultant Physicians, RMO teams and nursing staff
- Great exposure for registrars wanting rural hospital experience

Requirements

- General or Provisional AHPRA Registration
- PGY3+ with General Medicine or Physician Training experience
- NSW Working with Children Check
- National Criminal Record Check
- Current CV, references and compliance documents as required
