Gorilla Jobs is seeking PGY5+ ED Senior Medical Officers, ED GPs and FACEMs for locum work across regional and rural NSW and WA.

This role is ideal for doctors who enjoy acute care, want a change of scenery and value working in communities where senior ED support genuinely matters.

You can choose to focus on one region, try different locations or build a repeating FIFO pattern across the year, with rates up to $3,500 per day depending on role, site and experience.

Clinical Environment

- Regional and rural Emergency Department settings
- Broad casemix across trauma, acute medicine, paediatrics, mental health, minor injuries and procedures
- Solo or team-based shifts depending on site and level
- Retrieval, nursing and on-call support available
- Clear escalation pathways and defined senior backup

Requirements

- PGY5+ with solid Emergency Medicine or acute care experience for ED SMO / ED GP roles
- FACEM or equivalent Specialist in Emergency Medicine for Consultant-level work
- Current AHPRA registration and Australian working rights
- Comfortable working in regional or rural ED environments
- Willingness to complete NSW / WA credentialing and compliance
