Northern NSW Local Health District is seeking a Locum Cardiology Registrar to support inpatient and consult services at a regional hospital.

This role suits registrars wanting flexible locum work that can fit around training, family, travel plans or other commitments.

You will work with staff specialists, fellows and junior doctors to manage acute and chronic cardiac patients in a supportive team environment.

Clinical Environment

- Inpatient and consult-based cardiology work
- Ward rounds, clinics and MDT involvement
- Exposure to acute admissions and chronic cardiac care
- Supervision from experienced cardiologists
- Support from junior doctors and broader hospital teams

Requirements

- General AHPRA Registration
- Cardiology, general medicine or acute care experience
- Confidence with cardiac assessment, ECG interpretation and escalation
- NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
- Australian working rights
- Willingness to complete Northern NSW LHD onboarding
