Northern NSW Local Health District is seeking a Locum Cardiology Registrar to support inpatient and consult services within a regional hospital setting.

This role is ideal for registrars who want a change of scenery, strong cardiology exposure and access to one of NSW’s best lifestyle regions.

You will help manage acute and chronic cardiac patients while working closely with cardiologists, fellows, junior doctors and hospital teams.

Clinical Environment

- Acute cardiology admissions, inpatient care and consults
- Ward rounds, clinics and MDT discussions
- Exposure to advanced cardiac diagnostics
- Support from experienced cardiologists
- Regional escalation networks and collaborative teams

Requirements

- General AHPRA Registration
- Cardiology, general medicine or acute care experience
- Confidence with cardiac assessment, ECG interpretation and escalation
- NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
- Australian working rights
- Willingness to complete Northern NSW LHD credentialing
