Reporting to the Group Financial Controller , this is a hands‑on role supporting the financial reporting, compliance and governance of the Lovisa Group. You'll work across a broad range of financial accounting activities, with exposure to group reporting, statutory compliance, external audit, tax, cash flow and month‑end.

About the Role:
n
n
- n
Support the preparation of Full Year and Half Year financial reporting for the ASX‑listed parent company, including consolidations and note disclosures
n
- n
Assist with the preparation and lodgment of statutory financial statements and tax returns for group entities
n
- n
Prepare tax‑effect accounting entries and supporting workpapers
n
- n
Support the external audit process at both group and local level, including audit documentation, sample preparation and follow‑up queries
n
- n
Assist with forecasting and the day‑to‑day management of group cash flow and currency requirements
n
- n
Support the management of the Group's insurance program
n
- n
Assist with company secretarial requirements for group subsidiary companies in conjunction with external advisers
n
- n
Support store licensing applications and ongoing compliance requirements
n
- n
Prepare month‑end accounting for equity transactions, accruals and prepayments
n
- n
Assist with month‑end reporting and review of financial results
n
- n
Prepare and/or review general ledger reconciliations
n
- n
Provide financial analysis and support across ad hoc projects as required
n

What We’re Looking For:
n
You’ll be a confident and commercially minded finance professional with strong technical accounting capability and excellent attention to detail.

You’ll ideally bring:

CA or CPA qualification
n
- n
Strong financial accounting and analytical skills
n
- n
Experience with statutory and financial reporting
n
- n
Strong understanding of month‑end processes and general ledger reconciliations
n
- n
Experience supporting external audits
n
- n
Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
- n
The ability to analyse data and identify opportunities for process improvement
n
- n
A collaborative approach and willingness to support the wider Finance team
n
- n
Intermediate Excel skills
n
- n
Experience using finance systems, ideally including Oracle
n
- n
Retail accounting experience is desirable but not essential
