About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Research Scientist with a specialization in Immunology to join their dynamic R&D; team in Queenstown . This role is integral to advancing our understanding of immune responses and developing novel immunotherapies. You will design and conduct complex experiments, analyze data, and contribute to the overall research strategy within a collaborative, hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate will possess a deep knowledge of immunology principles and hands-on experience with relevant laboratory techniques, contributing to significant breakthroughs in the field.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, execute, and troubleshoot in vitro and in vivo immunology experiments.
- Investigate cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying immune responses in health and disease.
- Analyze immunological data, including flow cytometry, ELISpot, and cytokine profiling, and interpret results.
- Contribute to the development of novel therapeutic strategies targeting the immune system.
- Prepare scientific reports, presentations, and contribute to manuscript preparation.




- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners on research projects.

Requirements

- Ph.D. in Immunology, Molecular Biology, or a related life science discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of postdoctoral or industry research experience in immunology.
- Hands-on experience with immunological assays such as flow cytometry, ELISA, and cell-based assays.
- Solid understanding of immune cell biology, signaling pathways, and immunomodulation.
- Experience with animal models of disease is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
