Kul-ra buttler pty ltd KUL-RA BUTTLER PTY LTD (Butlers Cucina) is seeking a skilled, motivated and passionate Chef to join our team in Delahey, Victoria. This full-time position provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced Chef to contribute to the day-to-day operations of a busy commercial kitchen. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals, maintaining consistent presentation standards and assisting with menu planning, stock control and kitchen operations.

The successful applicant will have strong culinary skills, good knowledge of food safety requirements and the ability to work efficiently as part of a professional kitchen team. Benefits The position offers a competitive salary package of AUD $79,500 – $84,000 per annum plus superannuation, stable full-time employment, opportunities for professional development and a supportive team environment.

Task & responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards. Prepare ingredients and ensure food is cooked and presented to a consistently high standard. Plan and contribute to menus, including seasonal dishes and specials.

Cater for customer dietary requirements and special requests where required. Monitor the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation. Ensure appropriate portion control and consistency in food presentation.

Assist with estimating food requirements and controlling food costs. Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering food, ingredients and kitchen supplies.



Receive and inspect food deliveries to ensure quality and freshness.

Conduct stocktakes and maintain appropriate inventory records. Store food and ingredients correctly in accordance with food safety requirements. Ensure food preparation and cooking activities comply with applicable health, hygiene and food safety standards.

Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen and food preparation area. Monitor the cleanliness and condition of kitchen equipment and utensils. Assist with minimising food wastage and controlling kitchen costs.

Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Guide and support kitchen staff where required. Assist in training kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking and kitchen procedures where required.

Work collaboratively with management and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service. Comply with workplace health and safety requirements and company procedures. Qualification & experience Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery, Diploma in Culinary Arts or a similar relevant qualification.

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience working as a Chef or in a similar commercial kitchen role. Demonstrated knowledge of food preparation, cooking and presentation techniques. Knowledge of menu planning and general kitchen operations.

Understanding of food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.



Experience with stock control, ordering and food cost management. Ability to work efficiently in a busy commercial kitchen environment.

Strong organisational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team. Valuable communication skills and attention to detail.
