Your new company
You are a key member of the team working to deliver meaningful data assets. You play a key role in enabling the department to answer critical business questions by developing data pipelines to maintain reliable data sources relied upon for analysis and reporting.
Your role report to the Data Platform & AI Manager in the Business Performance division.

Your new role

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust, scalable data management solutions hosted in cloud environments, ensuring they meet the organisation’s business requirements.
- Expand and optimise data pipeline architecture, applying DataOps principles to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
- Build and maintain the CI/CD pipeline for deploying data infrastructure, ensuring best practice methods including Continuous Integration/Deployment and DevOps patterns are followed.
- Deploy and manage data infrastructure components (data lakes, warehouses, streaming platforms)
- Implement infrastructure-as-code practices for reproducible and version-controlled deployments
- Collaborate on data architecture decisions to support scalability and business requirements
- Ensure data systems are secure, compliant, and follow best practices
- Work closely with the Data Platform Team, analytics team, and business users to understand requirements, identify new data sources and productionise ETL




- Translate business needs into technical pipeline specifications and deliverables

What you'll need to succeed

- Have at least 3 years’ Python coding experience in a data or software development setting.
- Experience in utilising SQL (PostgreSQL, SnowSQL, Snowflake) to extract, transform and load (ETL) data into data warehouse.
- Experience in monitoring, automating and uplifting data warehouse outcomes using DevOps methodologies and toolsets, including GIT.
- Experience desirable working with agentic coding tools.
- Experience working with Windows and Linux operating systems, including in Docker.
- Excellent analytical skills and proven track record solving difficult problems.
- Experience in Agile tools such as the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket).
- Continuous Integration/Delivery tools such as Github, Bitbucket, Bitbucket Pipelines.
