The Department for Infrastructure and Transport plays a vital role connecting people and places in South Australia by managing roads, marine and public transport networks across the State, and builds and maintains the State-owned infrastructure that enables the delivery of essential and important government services to our community.

Service SA is the primary provider of frontline government services, delivering driver licensing, vehicle registration, and customer support through both in-person and digital channels.

We are looking for a customer-focused and adaptable person who enjoys helping others and delivering great service. You will have strong communication and problem-solving skills, pay close attention to detail, and approach situations with empathy and good judgement. The role requires someone who can work well with others, manage competing priorities, and consistently provide accurate and high-quality outcomes in a busy environment.

Special Conditions Attached to the role

- A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.
- A Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to employment with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport, which must be renewed every five years before expiry.
- Some out of hours and weekend work may be required.
