Based at our Forth Farm in Tasmania's beautiful Northwest Coast, located just outside of Devonport, you will be working in some of Tasmania's most natural landscapes with views of mountain ranges, souring coastal sea cliffs and crescent shaped beaches - all this while sitting in the seat of your tractor or harvester.

About the role

As our Farm Machinery Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring you complete the following tasks.

- Efficiently and safely operate all farm machinery in accordance with Harvest Moon’s Policies, Procedures and Standards.

- Competently undertake general farm duties and tasks as required during non-harvesting periods.

- Keeping accurate and up-to-date documentation of daily activities, crop quality and performance as required.





- Ensuring timesheets and working hours are accurately recorded in accordance with Harvest Moon’s Policies, Procedures, and business systems.

- Working efficiently and effectively both individually and in a small but expanding team environment.

- Successfully plant & harvest crops with high precision and minimal damage or loss.

About you

With a passion for the land and desire to get things done safely and efficiently, you will possess the following skills and professional experience:

- Previous experience competently operating various and specialised farm machinery.

- Ability to use modern precision agricultural technology including GPS, ISOBUS inputs and precision application of crop inputs.

- Effective communication and people skills and the ability to work efficiently with diverse teams.

- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise farm tasks.

- Knowledge and understanding of machinery operations, maintenance, and WHS protocols.
