Process Operator (experienced) Eloise Copper Mine

AIC Mines is entering an exciting period of growth across our North West Queensland operations, with the Jericho Mine progressing into production over the coming months.

Located near Cloncurry, Eloise Copper Mine is an established underground operation producing high-grade copper concentrate. Together with the development of Jericho, Eloise forms an important part of AIC Mines’ growth strategy.

This is an opportunity to join a close-knit operational team focused on safety, teamwork, performance and continuous improvement.

Role Details:

We are currently in search of a highly experienced Process Operator who will report directly to the Processing Shift Supervisor, demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.

About the role:

- Operation of a conventional ~700ktpa flotation processing plant including crushing, grinding, flotation and tails storage facility management.

- Identification and diagnosis of plant issues and requirements that require immediate or preventative maintenance.

- Ensuring production targets are met and exceeded with a focus on continuous improvement.

- Operating the wheel loader, skid steer and excavator in a safe and correct manner.

- Abiding by health and safety requirements and employee duty of care obligations.

- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping.

About you:





- Proven operating experience in a mineral processing setting, preferably with crushing plants, grinding mills and flotation.

- The ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems.

- Possess a valid C Class Driver's Licence.

- Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

- High safety standards with demonstrated commitment to safety values.

- Positive attitude, an eagerness to learn and work well within a team.

- Be able to get a National Police Clearance.

- Ideally have some experience in wheel loader, excavator and skid steer operations.
