AIC Mines is entering an exciting period of growth across our North West Queensland operations, with the Jericho Mine progressing into production over the coming months.

Located near Cloncurry, Eloise Copper Mine is an established underground operation producing high-grade copper concentrate. Together with the development of Jericho, Eloise forms an important part of AIC Mines’ growth strategy.

This is an opportunity to join a close-knit operational team focused on safety, teamwork, performance and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Senior - Metallurgist you will be responsible for:

- Daily samples analysis which will include registration, sample preparation and wet chemistry techniques.

- Metallurgical test work including moisture, size analysis and float testing.

- Conducting analyses in accordance with specified standards and procedures.

- Identifying and reporting errors arising during analyses.

- Recording and reporting results in appropriate formats.

- Maintaining accurate records of analytical results.

- Maintenance and cleaning of laboratory equipment.

Key Requirements:

- Recent and relevant experience as a mine Laboratory Technician.





- Experience using an Atomic Adsorption Spectrometer (AAS) is desirable.

- Experience with Auto titrators and the modified Short Iodide Method for Copper determination will be highly regarded.

- Hold a high regard for safety by following safe working practices.

- A team player with a positive attitude.

- Be able to work rotating roster, including 15/13 day shift only

- Full working rights in Australia.

- Physically fit and able to pass a medical assessment and police clearance.
