Front Of House / All-Rounder – Remote Coastal Queensland
Bring your hospitality, bar and customer service skills to a relaxed coastal venue in Remote Coastal Queensland, where friendly service, great food and spectacular sunsets are part of everyday life. We’re looking for hands-on Front of House / All-Rounders who are confident across bar and bistro service, enjoy variety and are happy to become part of a close-knit remote community.
This welcoming venue comes alive during the dry season, attracting travellers looking for sunshine, fresh seafood and a genuine coastal escape.
You’ll be part of a friendly team in a varied role that combines bar service, bistro service, customer service and general venue duties. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, can work well as part of a team and is comfortable pitching in wherever needed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing friendly and efficient bar and bistro service
- Preparing and serving beverages
- Taking customer orders and assisting with table service
- Restocking fridges and maintaining stock levels
- Completing general cleaning before opening, including public areas, bar and bistro
- Assisting with general venue duties throughout the day
- Supporting the wider team wherever required
Gaming experience is an advantage but not essential.
Public area cleaning experience will also be highly regarded.
About You
We’re looking for candidates who are:
- Experienced in hospitality, food & beverage or Front of House
- Confident providing friendly customer service
- Comfortable working across different areas of a venue
- Reliable, hardworking and team-focused
- Happy to work and live in a remote coastal Queensland location
- Holds a current RSA & RSG, or is willing to obtain them
- Able to pass a Fit2Work clearance
Pay & Accommodation
Casual Pay Rates:
- Monday–Friday: $33.85 per hour
- Saturday: $40.62 per hour
- Sunday: $47.39 per hour
Accommodation:
- Shared staff house: $100 per week
- Couples: $60 per person per week
