About the Role

As the HSE Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting the safety, wellbeing and compliance of our workforce across NSW and nationally. Partnering with branch leaders, operational managers and customers, you will help drive positive safety outcomes across warehousing, logistics, manufacturing and labour hire environments.

This is a hands-on role that combines field-based safety support, coaching, investigations, audits, injury management and continuous improvement activities. Success in this role comes from building strong partnerships and influencing leaders to embed safety into everyday operations rather than simply policing compliance.

This role is based at our Wetherill Park Head Office and requires regular travel to branch locations, customer sites and workplaces throughout NSW. Occasional support may also be required for interstate operations. The position is primarily office and field based.

Key Responsibilities

- Support workplace incident investigations, including identifying root causes and corrective actions

- Assist with the implementation and monitoring of corrective and preventative actions

- Conduct workplace inspections, site audits and safety observations

- Undertake risk assessments, hazard identification and risk management activities

- Support Return to Work and injury management processes

- Assist with workers compensation and injury prevention initiatives

- Deliver toolbox talks, safety communications and workplace training

- Maintain safety records, reports and compliance documentation

- Participate in internal audits and support external audit activities

- Assist branch leaders and operational teams to manage safety risks and compliance requirements

- Participate in client safety reviews, inspections and meetings

- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities





- Build solid working relationships with operational teams, customers and other stakeholders

- Conduct Drug and Alcohol testing as required

About You
Essential

- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (minimum requirement)

- Current driver's licence

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills

- Excellent organisational and administrative skills

- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

- Practical, solutions-focused approach to problem solving

- Ability to influence, coach and support leaders at all levels

- Willingness to learn, develop and build a long-term career in Health and Safety

- Ability to travel regularly throughout NSW

Desirable
- Experience within labour hire, manufacturing, warehousing, transport or logistics

- Return to Work or workers compensation experience

- Drug and Alcohol testing qualifications or willingness to obtain
