We’re looking for experienced high-end new-build residential sparkies to join the ECQ team.

There’s no service work, volume-build spec homes or call-outs — the role is exclusively focused on high-end custom architectural residential new builds.

At Electrical Contracting Queensland (ECQ), we specialise in high-end custom residential new builds across Brisbane, working alongside multiple award-winning builders on projects valued at up to $20 million.

You’ll be working as part of our team, involved in the entire process from the ground up through to final fit-off and handover. You’ll work alongside leading builders and trades to deliver high-quality electrical installations where no two jobs are the same, attention to detail, workmanship and finish really matter.

- Full Time Role: Full time position earning from $55-65/hr (Based on experience) + Super + OT

About the Role

Work as part of our high-end residential team on custom new-build homes for award-winning builders throughout Brisbane.

You’ll be required to work on architecturally designed, high-end homes where quality,



precision and attention to detail are essential. Some of the core Skills:

- Bringing high-end homes to life — working from detailed architectural and electrical plans to deliver quality electrical installations from rough-in through to final fit-off.

- Taking pride in your work — installing electrical systems to a high standard, with a strong focus on quality, detail and finish.

- Getting the details right — accurately setting out lighting, switches, power points and other electrical components to suit the design and finished spaces.

- Working as part of the team — collaborating closely with builders, project managers, designers and other trades, while thinking ahead, identifying potential issues early and working with the team to find practical solutions to keep projects running smoothly.

- Taking ownership of your work — managing your time, planning your day and staying on top of your tasks to keep the project moving.

- Keeping a professional site — maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area throughout the project.

- Representing ECQ with pride — building strong working relationships with builders, clients and other trades and always presenting yourself professionally.

- Being part of the team — working alongside experienced electricians and helping apprentices develop their skills and grow within the industry.

Who were looking for :

- If you’re an experienced electrician who takes pride in your work and enjoys being part of a professional team, we’d love to hear from you.

- Qualified & ready to go: Electrical licence, current driver’s licence, White Card and your own tools. Additional licences are a bonus.

- Experienced: 4+ years post-trade experience, with high-end residential or commercial experience highly regarded.

- Proud of your work: You care about quality, presentation and delivering a great result for the client.

- Take initiative: Comfortable working independently, taking ownership of your work and finding practical solutions.

- Ready to grow: Happy to share your knowledge, support apprentices and take on more responsibility as you progress.
