About You:
We are looking for an experienced and qualified accountant who understands the financial and operational demands of a growing Australian business.

You will ideally have:
● Relevant accounting qualifications
● Strong practical experience using MYOB
● Strong knowledge of Australian accounting and taxation requirements
● Demonstrated experience dealing directly with the ATO and State Revenue Offices
● Strong knowledge of payroll tax, GST, BAS and company tax
● Proven experience managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
● Strong reconciliation and financial management skills
● Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
● Strong organisational and time-management skills
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● The confidence to communicate directly with customers, suppliers, management and government authorities
● The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of responsibilities
● A commercially minded approach to financial management
● The ability to identify issues before they become problems and take action to resolve them

This is an important position within SOCLEAN and will suit someone who wants to be actively involved in the business, not simply process numbers.

We are looking for someone who understands that effective financial management is about much more than bookkeeping. It is about financial control, compliance, cash flow, customer relationships, accountability and supporting sound commercial decisions.
