As a key member of the Care Services department, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operations and physical environment of our facility to ensure the highest standards of safety, comfort, and well-being. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of our Chatswood facility, leading support teams and maintaining a safe, vibrant living and working environment. Working under the Care Services department, your key responsibilities will include:

- Managing the day-to-day operations of the facility, including maintenance, housekeeping, and security services
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices
- Leading and supervising a team of support staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Collaborating with other departments to address facility-related needs and concerns
- Conducting regular inspections to identify maintenance issues and coordinating repairs or improvements as necessary
- Overseeing budgetary matters related to facility services and working to achieve cost-effective solutions
- Ensuring that health and safety protocols are followed at all times, promoting a culture of safety within the facility




- Acting as the primary point of contact for external vendors and contractors involved in facility service projects
- Participating in strategic planning efforts to enhance the overall quality of the facility environment
- Communicating effectively with senior management regarding facility-related developments and initiatives

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent organisational abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Previous experience in facilities management or a related field is highly desirable. What you'll bring to the role:

- Registration with AHPRA
- Proven experience in facility management or related operational leadership roles
- Strong leadership ability to guide, mentor, and support a multi-disciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience managing day to day clinical issues
- Good knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Current Police Check
- Working Rights in Australia
