We are currently recruiting an experienced Concrete Foreman for a well-established construction contractor delivering major commercial and infrastructure packages across EBA sites in Sydney.
Our client works with a strong portfolio of tier-one and major principal contractors, delivering substantial concrete packages across commercial, industrial, civil and infrastructure projects. This is a long-term permanent opportunity with a company that has a strong pipeline of work across Sydney.

This is a hands-on Concrete Foreman position where you'll be responsible for supervising concrete crews and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
You'll be working closely with Site Managers, Project Managers, engineers and other trades while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day delivery of the concrete works.

Key responsibilities include:

- Supervising and coordinating concrete crews on site
- Managing day-to-day concrete operations and work fronts
- Coordinating concrete pours, formwork, reinforcement and associated works
- Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications
- Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality
- Managing labour, materials, plant and productivity
- Conducting pre-pour checks and coordinating with site teams
- Leading toolbox talks and maintaining strong site safety standards
- Liaising with site management, engineers and other subcontractors
- Maintaining programme and productivity requirements
- Providing hands-on leadership to your crew





We're looking for someone who has genuine concrete experience and has progressed into a Foreman or Site Manager position.
You'll ideally have:

- 3-5+ years' Australian construction experience
- Strong commercial/civil concrete experience
- Previous experience supervising concrete crews
- A hands-on approach to site supervision
- Strong knowledge of concrete construction and site operations
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Strong safety awareness
- Ability to coordinate multiple activities and trades
- Good communication and leadership skills
- A proven ability to work in a fast-paced site environment
- Full and unrestricted Australian working rights

This role would suit a Concrete Foreman, Concrete Supervisor, Senior Leading Hand or experienced Leading Hand ready to step into a Foreman position.
