A Trainee Opportunity - South Burnett Regional Council:
Kickstart your Administration career with this outstanding Traineeship with the South Burnett Regional Council.
The Kingaroy based Traineeship will be full-time for 12 months commencing Monday 1st February, 2027 and will include the completion of a Cert III in Business.

The Duties:
Reporting to the Principal Adviser, People & Culture, the Trainee will perform a diverse range of duties which will include:
- Gain on-the-job administration experience by assisting with day-to-day administration functions and activities in the Council's People & Culture team.
- Undertake all training requirements and complete a Cert III in Business.
- Provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external clients.
- Maintain a record of training achieved.
- Maintain a safe, clean and tidy workplace.
- Complete other reasonable activities and directions as needed.
The Requirements:
- A commitment to learn new skills and complete formal qualifications in Business.
- Sound comprehension and numeracy skills.
- The ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision as required.
- Sound communication skills.
- Proven team player qualities.
- Minimum successful completion of year 10.
- A minimum current "C" class driver licence.
- A commitment to safety in the workplace.
Additional Application Requirements:
The recruitment process for this Traineeship will include:

- Selected eligible applicants will then be invited by email to attend one of several group information sessions to further discuss the opportunity, complete a basic comprehension / numeracy assessment and a selection criteria questionnaire.

Pre-employment Assessments:
Prior to commencement, the successful applicant will be required to complete a pre-employment medical assessment which will include drug and alcohol testing.
