Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead technical planning and assurance for the integration of complex networked systems. You will develop engineering and test plans, guide prototyping activities, assess technical risks and provide explicit advice to project leaders.

This role suits an experienced practitioner who can exercise technical authority while working closely with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain systems engineering, requirements and test and evaluation plans.
- Plan and support prototyping, verification, validation and test activities.
- Prepare and lead requirements, design and test readiness reviews.
- Assess proposed technical solutions against integration requirements, standards and engineering policies.
- Establish and maintain engineering processes, technical artefacts and assurance evidence.
- Provide technical direction and advice to engineers, project managers and senior stakeholders.
- Identify, manage and escalate technical risks, with practical recommendations for resolution.
- Prepare progress reports, presentations and other documentation to support decisions and project delivery.

Key Requirements:

- A relevant degree in systems, software,



computer, electronic or mechatronic engineering, supported by substantial systems engineering experience.
- Experience designing, integrating and testing complex computing, communications, command and control (C4I) systems, networks and associated software.
- Strong knowledge of requirements engineering, interface management, system architecture and technical standards.
- Ability to develop systems engineering management plans, test and evaluation plans, requirements specifications and test plans.
- Practical experience with verification and validation, including requirements, design and test readiness reviews.
- Knowledge of computing, telecommunications, network and data storage protocols and standards.
- Ability to assess technical designs, manage engineering risks and exercise delegated design authority.
- Strong technical writing skills and the ability to explain engineering findings to project leaders and multidisciplinary teams.
- Current NV1 security clearance and ability to comply with applicable export control requirements, including ITAR.
