THE PROSPECT
This role owns delivery of an offshore wellhead platform project from detailed design through procurement, fabrication, and offshore installation — a genuine multi-party programme, not a support seat on someone else's. You'll carry real commercial and technical accountability across the full delivery chain, from contract administration through to hook-up and commissioning.

THE ROLE
Reporting to the Business Line Manager, you'll manage scope, schedule, cost, and risk across a multi-party wellhead platform delivery programme, working directly with the client, fabrication yards, and rig owners. You'll administer the head contract and subcontracts, control cost and schedule performance through to monthly client reporting, and coordinate ICON's internal engineering disciplines to keep the design programme aligned with procurement and fabrication. The role carries offshore execution accountability through load-out, transport and installation, rig interfaces, and hook-up — this is delivery ownership, not oversight from a desk.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage scope, schedule, cost, and risk across a multi-party wellhead platform delivery programme.
- Administer the head contract and subcontracts — variations, claims avoidance, and formal correspondence.
- Control cost and schedule performance using earned value methods, with forecasting and monthly client reporting.
- Lead procurement and expediting of long-lead equipment, managing vendors and SE Asian fabrication yards.




- Coordinate ICON's internal engineering disciplines to keep design aligned with fabrication and installation schedules.
- Direct offshore execution — load-out, transport and installation (T&I;), rig interfaces, and hook-up and commissioning.
- Lead HSE and risk management — safety in design, HAZID/HAZOP participation, and management of change.
- Own quality outcomes across the programme — ITPs, inspection coordination, and MDR/handover dossier compliance.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Essential:

- Degree-qualified engineer (mechanical or structural preferred), with 12+ years' offshore oil and gas experience.
- Demonstrated project management of combined engineering, fabrication, and offshore installation scopes.
- Contract administration experience — head contracts, subcontracts, variations, and claims avoidance.
- Cost and schedule control experience — earned value, forecasting, and formal client reporting.
- Procurement and expediting experience — long-lead equipment and vendor management.
- Offshore execution experience — load-out, T&I;, rig interfaces, hook-up and commissioning.
- HSE and risk leadership — safety in design and HAZID/HAZOP participation.

Desirable:

- Facilities, wellhead platform, or rig-installed structures experience.
- Experience working directly with SE Asian fabrication yards.
- Familiarity with quality systems — ITPs and MDR/handover dossiers — on multi-discipline projects.
