AI Developer

- Location: Brisbane
- Contract: 12 months

A major Queensland local council is embarking on an ambitious AI program aligned to its 2050 vision, exploring how AI can transform the way the organisation operates, from automating processes and reducing manual effort to improving how people access and use information.

We're looking for an AI Developer to help turn these opportunities into working solutions. You'll work with business and technology teams to identify opportunities, prototype ideas and build AI agents and GenAI solutions that solve real operational problems.

You'll bring

- Hands-on experience building AI agents / agentic solutions
- Solid Azure development experience
- Some working experience with Generative AI, LLMs and RAG
- Strong software development skills — Python,



C#/.NET or similar
- Experience integrating AI with APIs, data and business processes
- A practical mindset, able to take an idea from concept through to working solution

Nice to have: Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio or Azure AI Search.
